Estimating Your Alabama Income Tax Under Act 2003-116

You will need the following to make your estimate as accurate as possible:

| Look at your Federal income tax form for 2002 |
| Select the Federal Tax Form you used for 2002 |
| Choose the type of deductions you claimed |
| Select your filing status on the 2002 Federal income tax form |
| Enter the number of dependents you claimed on line 6c: Over 17 Under 17 |
| Check if you filed as 65 or older on Form 1040, line 37a or Form 1040A, line 23a: |

| Now look at your Alabama income tax form for 2002 |
| Select the Alabama Tax Form you used for 2002 |
| Select your filing status on the 2002 Alabama income tax form (look at lines 1-4) |
| Enter the number of dependents you claimed on Form 40, part lll, Line b or Form 40A, part ll, Line b |
| Choose the type of deductions you claimed |

If you own your home, check if you claim the homestead exemption for over age 65, blind, or disabled: |
