The Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama (PARCA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan corporation that exists to collect, synthesize, and report information on issues of public interest affecting state and local government policy in Alabama. It is financed by contributions from civic-minded organizations and individuals who share the belief that the future of Alabama depends on public understanding of the issues facing the state. The support of all who share its aims is welcomed.
